Anything Banana Bread is a must in my household. It’s filled with spices and is a must have as the perfect snack on a nice sunny day or just hanging out with friends.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup syrup/agave or sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 5 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil
- 4 very ripe bananas , crushed
- 1 teaspoon baking soad
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground powder
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon tonka bean
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or essence
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- preheat oven to 325 degrees f
- in a large bowl, add the dry ingredients and mix well until combined. set aside
- in another bowl, add eggs, oil, syrup, mashed bananas and vanilla essence. whisk until combined. add dry mixture and stir just until combined. add in nuts and combined
- pour batter into a lightly greased loaf pan and place in preheated oven to cook for about 1 hour (more or less depending on your oven)
- remove from oven. allow to sit in pan for 10 minutes before removing and placing on a cooling rack to cool completely. slice and enjoy!
