Healthy Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup flax chia blend
  • 1/2 cup soaked oats
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or any healthy alternative of choice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 -1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoons himalayan pink salt

Instructions

  • preheat oven to 350 degrees f
  • in a mixer bowl, add all ingredients except oil and water. mix on medium speed until combined. add oil and mix. next add in water a little at a time and knead until a sticky dough is formed (about 8 minutes).
  • place dough in a lightly greased bowl and allow to rest until proofed. once proofed, place into the mixer once more and knead for a further 3 minutes. once finished, place on a lightly floured countertop. cut into two (2) equal parts and form into bread and place in lightly oiled loaf pans.
  • allow to proof for another 45 minutes. place in oven to bake until brown (about 30-35 minutes depending on oven. it may be more time or less)
  • remove from oven. allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing and placing them on a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • slice and enjoy with any sides of choice
  • enjoy!
