Ingredients

. 210 grams (1 3/4) cups of regular flour

. 3/4 – 1 cup of white sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teasspoon baking soda

. 1 stick (1/2) cup melt butter slightly cooled

. 1 cup buttermilk

. 2 large eggs

1/2 cup sprinkles (traditional green and red or multi coloured)

. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

. 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

• preheat oven to 350 degrees f. oil or butter a 9*5 loaf pan and set aside
• in a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients and set aside
• next in another large bowl add melted butter and sugar until smooth. add in the butter milk, vanilla and lemon juice. mix well
• gradually add the dry to the wet ingredients and gently fold in . remember, do not over mix.
• add in the sprinkles and fold in gently. place batter in prepared pan and tap gently to level and get rid of any ear bubbles
• place in preheated oven and bake until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
• allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes at least before transferring to a rack to cool/
• add a simple glaze and decorate with some sprinkles. slice and enjoy
