Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 egg
• 3 tablespoons salted butter, melted
• 1 1/4 evaporated or whole milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 beetroot grated

Instructions

. in a large bowl, add all dry ingredients and mix well. add in the grated beetroot, mixing until it becomes crumbly.

• set aside until ready for use
• in another bowl add all wet ingredients. mix until combined. make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and add the liquid mixture
• mix until well combined.
• place a skillet on medium low heat and allow to heat up well. add oil or butter to skillet
• add pancake batter in evenly round shapes or desired shape. allow to cook and once it starts to make bubbles on top its time to flip
• enjoy with honey or toppings of choice
