Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 11/4 cups water warm
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- using 1 cup of water soak oats for about 25-30 minutes
- preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- in a mixer, add in soaked oats, flours, sugar, salt and yeast. on low speed, mix until combined. slowly add in olive oil and the remaining warm water
- knead for about 8 minutes until a smooth sticky dough is formed. place dough in a lightly greased bowl and place in a warm area of your kitchen to double in size
- once doubled in size, punch down the middle and return to mixer to knead for a further 3 minutes. place on lightly floured countertop and form into breads. place into to lightly greased loaf pans and allow to sit for another 45 minutes to raise for a second time.
- place in preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. remove from oven and allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes. remove and place on rack to cool completely.
- serve with any side of choice
