]]>Who doesn’t like a great Chocolate Chip Cookies? This recipe is made with a few ingredients of which many can be found in your cupboard. Give it a try today. You won’t be disappointed.
1 cup (227g butter or margarine), softened to room temperature
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups or more chocolate chip cookies
Instructions
preheat oven to 375 degrees f
in a bowl add flour, salt and baking. whisk until combined and set aside until ready to use
in a another large bowl, place softened butter and sugars and beat until light and fluffy (roughly 5-6 minutes). add egg and vanilla extract or essence. mix until incorporated. next add in flour mixture and mix until just combined (do not over mix)
add in chocolate chips and gently fold in. allow dough to rest for 15 minutes or more in refrigerator. next remove and using an ice cream scoop, place dough unto baking sheet lined with parchment paper. wet finger tips and gently press down.
place in preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes (more or less depending on oven used. so keep an eye on your cookies)
once baked, remove from oven, allow to cool completely before removing from baking sheet and enjoy!
