in a pot with water, place green fig/banana. add salt, cover and allow to boil until cooked (about 20 minutes. don’t over cook). while figs/bananas are cooking, wash and cup up onions peppers and parsley and set aside
allow figs to cool not completely. next place in large bowl and mash. add in milk, grated garlic, onion, parsley, 3/4 of the cheese and pepper of choice. mix until combined. place in a baking dish and smooth out top. add the remaining cheese all over the top and place in preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes (depending on your oven). once baked, remove and allow to cool completely (for about 1 hour) before cutting and serve
