Simple Strawberry Glaze Recipe

Ingredients:

-1 cup Frozen Strawberries

-1/2 – 1 cup Brown Sugar

-Cinnamon Stick

-A pinch of salt

-1 Water

-Nutmeg to taste

Instructions

  • place skillet on medium heat on stove
  • Add strawberries and water
  • Bring to a boil. Next add sugar and a pinch of salt for balancing of flavours and give a quick stir
  • Be sure to stir constantly to avoid spilling over onto stove
  • Once the strawberries have started melting and has thickened you know its ready
  • Allow glaze to cool slightly before using a wire strainer to strain it.
  • This glaze can be used on your holiday ham, turkey, chicken etc.

*Please note that sugar can be added based on your taste preference
