]]> Try this delicious Traditional Grenadian Ginger Beer today. This fiery drink is perfect for special occasions like Christmas.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh ginger
  • sugar to taste
  • 12-14 cups water boiled
  • bay leave
  • cloves
  • lime peel
  • 1 whole lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence

Instructions

  • pour boiling water over grated ginger and allow to seep for 30 minutes or more depending on desired strength of the beer
  • once cool add vanilla essence, lime juice and sugar and stir. chill and serve
  • enjoy!
