Tannia Log

Ingredients

  • 1/2 – 1 cup of grated tannia
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1 bayleaf
  • 1 small/medium cinnamon stick or 1 teaspoon grounded cinnamon
  • water
  • 1 tin condensed milk

Instructions

  • with pot on stove on medium heat, add in water, spices and bring to a boil
  • next go in with tannia be sure to add slowly while stirring constantly to avoid lump
  • allow to cook (you would notice that the tannia will go from white to a light grey as it cooks0
  • be sure to add more water once needed
  • next go in with the condensed milk and sweeten to taste or based on your liking
  • once sweetened allow to simmer for a few more minutes all the while making sure to stir
  • once finished, pour into cup or soup bowl. garnish with some grated nutmeg.
