Ingredients
- 1/2 – 1 cup of grated tannia
- 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- 1 bayleaf
- 1 small/medium cinnamon stick or 1 teaspoon grounded cinnamon
- water
- 1 tin condensed milk
Instructions
- with pot on stove on medium heat, add in water, spices and bring to a boil
- next go in with tannia be sure to add slowly while stirring constantly to avoid lump
- allow to cook (you would notice that the tannia will go from white to a light grey as it cooks0
- be sure to add more water once needed
- next go in with the condensed milk and sweeten to taste or based on your liking
- once sweetened allow to simmer for a few more minutes all the while making sure to stir
- once finished, pour into cup or soup bowl. garnish with some grated nutmeg.
